It would actually make sense that Google should have interop teams whose job it is to make Google products open with APIs to other services otherwise the DOJ should break them up tbh Consumers deserve choice. Closed platforms should cause consequences for the world’s monopolies

Are they really a monopoly? Revenues are all from Search/YouTube ads, Cloud/Workspace & Play Store… growing these businesses will be very hard… they have never been very good at anything else so the bet is on driving $ from Gemini and that’s not going gangbusters. Search was a monopoly but after OpenAi I doubt that continues…
