I respect the moral consistency. IRL friends like you are how I had access to eggs during a 7 week period of the pandemic.

If there were a way to reliably meet demand with this model I will support it 100%

But with our existing systems, why not?

I’m vegetarian, and the eggs we buy at home are free-range, so yes I’m opposed to it

Plus, I see enough cockfights at work to entertain me as it is

Define pointless? Is entertainment pointless? Is food pointless? Is killing tens of millions of chickens in a vain attempt to slow a pandemic pointless?

Is spending your entire life in a cage, stacked on top of one another by the millions so you can lay unfertilized eggs pointless, from the person of the chicken? 

Male chicks are put in a shredder alive, as babies. Is that more meaningful somehow?
