I'm very mildly allergic to red food coloring. I get small sores in my mouth. Lately when I have red meat I've notices that I'll get some, particularly with pre-packaged (vacuum-sealed) and now even with more good fresh, Costco meat. Wondering if food coloring is starting to be more regular (but not listed) additive?

I buy frozen meat to avoid additives. They also use carbon monoxide to keep refrigerated meat red.
