A token can be a great way to bootstrap a project especially if you've set up incentives to align with users! It's been a month since launching /stokefire and we've generated $48k in rewards for players and I've made $48k in revenue all from fees. Best part is these rewards are in ETH and not in our unstable but growing token. It's setup so I make money when players make money and vice versa. What a lot of teams get wrong is their pay day only comes when they sell the token which is in direct conflict with what's good for holders. Whereas for me, I'm incentivized to make a good game and the payout is made slowly overtime only if I fulfill that promise. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

yeahhhh let's keep going also, ppl don't think about it but when you dropped the cost to stoke a fire by 1/4, you effectively 4x'ed the value of our bags so long as we do this constantly as we grow... it means the price per STOKE can stay constant and we can make money if we want to sell to new players aka the game doesn't get more expensive as token rises

Was a very wise move to put rewards on ETH instead, and the claim mechanics of losing your village is also top notch that way you know people that are here to stay.
