Curious what you think of this idea to add more reward to villages that are are doing well in their neighborhood. To be clear, the current reward mechanism to villages would remain and this would be a small addition/change. 👇

Don’t you think this starts an arms race to spend as much $fire as needed to beat your neighborhood? Prob good for token volume but does seem like could open advanced farming?

Always excited to hear new ideas! I think the neighbor competition would drive more users to use the battle mechanics. Love how it helps the smaller villages too and gives them a fair playing ground. Def need to lock in your neighbors for a week like others have mentioned. Kinda sparked an idea with the neighborhood competition tho. Would be cool to see a similar mechanic like this but with alliances! You could have groups pool resources together to raise their team score. Maybe something for the future!

Would neighborhoods be fixed all week? Or a snapshot taken? In general I’m a huge fan of making rewards more skill-based, and I’ve been hoping for the “season” idea with a fixed group of opponents for a while!

Last thought: did them all separate for convention sake If the goal is to incentivize new players to earn more (to stick around) I think the split should be closer to 1% each not .5 to 1.5% Also random- have you thought about earning $fire in game instead of eth rewards. Let the players decide. I think if I was earning $fire I would burn/spent it more in game which is good overall. When a player asks for the fire also do a transaction from the eth to fire for the overall burn

this is great but also a person could change neighbourhood twice a week so how would the dynamic work or would we have a fixed neighbourhood for that particular week (based off our scores🏆 when starting the week) and then we still remain in that neighbourhood regardless of what my/anyone’s score🏆 is at the end of the week and then we change neighbourhoods each week? (this is better imo) which makes it sound like a mini-weekly leaderboard relying to only neighbourhoods, honesty this would make the game more competitive, sounds pretty cool.

Sounds interesting and could be quite fun Could you maybe change the competitions too? For example Week 1) number of 🏆 Week 2) number of successful raids Week 3) number of 🛖 Week 4) number of successful defences Then it cycles through these each month? Would keep the neighbourhood competitions fresh

I'm not a good listener of English, so sorry if I'm wrong. The size of the overall pie would be fixed, so if we think of this the other way around, the pie for those who are just quietly burning 🔥 would be reduced, right? If you want to make the pie bigger and use it to fund new mechanisms, I'm all for it.

Hi @nbragg ,you explained the idea so well🔥 ❤️ it sounds super exciting! If the game brings in different skills and strategies, it could be a game-changer. But in the current setup, it seems unlikely to have a real chance of winning without fully maximizing the use of speed-ups. This could shift the game towards a pay-to-play model, which might take away some of the fun. But if the competition is purely strategy-based and doesn’t rely on spending, it would be way more thrilling, and I’d definitely be all in

Okay I think I read all the comments and suggestions. One thing that could help encourage actively managing your village during these weekly competitions: Automatically exclude villages if they were razed that given week. 30 $HUNT

Instead of pvp within your village what if it was village vs village for leaderboard. This incentives the social piece of stokefire for me to now talk too my village mates to try and go up the board together

just to clarify 25% (i.e. 0.5%/2%) of all rewards for the entire week will get distributed to neighborhood winners? or 25% of rewards of the neighborhood goes to a given neighborhood winner? if the former, how does it get distributed among the winners?
