I didn't hand over my hat, it was taken away from me in season 12, like many of you. It was not your fault. It was a tremendous injustice. Let it not be forgotten.

My big issue wrt Season 12 bans...

AFAIK @laladeedah was NOT banned, which is truly inexplicable. This account made 350k+ in tips, 6th on the leaderboard, most of any "regular" profile -- they have 15 followers, averaging 0 engagement besides microsub tips all from the same user! @degen133.eth

This was the easiest 356k degen to claw back and these profiles should obviously be permanently banned. How many artists and small farmers had to be robbed to make up for this one massive extractor? Is this a VC or insider profile? I don't get it. Inexplicable is really the best word I have for it. Super discouraging.

It would be simple to ban actual bad faith users like this:
- perma-ban any FID who received over 50k in tips solely from 1 or 2 or 3 donors
- perma-ban any FIDs who only tipped 1 or 2 recipients the entire season
That is low hanging fruit to ban tipping rings and purely extractive farmers. But instead we're targeting users who tip "reciprocally" (by a largely arbitrary definition).

This is a fucking shame and shows how Jacek has dug the grave of his own project. All he had to do was to manually ban farmers like this one, but he decided to screw those who really supported his project: the community.

1) I think the "farmer" pharse is meaningless in the current situation, but why:

Before the lock-up, allowances were given to users based on open rank. At that time, being a farmer made sense! Naturally, the free money that was classified as early and more active did NOT belong to them & they did NOT bother to get it. In that situation, if someone said that the allowance does not belong to you until you claim it, they would be absolutely right.

The ones who maintain the system are the investors, those who put their money in and blocked it to take part in the game. What @jacek  did was to ban those who invested and supported his own project, instead of identifying and manual banning the real farmers (which of course there are).

I claimed my degen and am truly grateful for the community's support and to be a part of this project.  It is hard to celebrate because so many of my peers, the artists, are unable to claim because they were banned yesterday.  Most did not have huge allowances.  Most overcame huge language barriers and technical hurdles to be here.  Most of their tips received were from unbanned accounts for the legitimate value they provided to the art community.  Most were following what they thought was the rule of 15 max reciprocated tips in a season.  It is a lot to try and understand all that is going on in Warpcast, let alone degen.  Be sure that if this stands as is, this will be a huge blow to the artist community on Farcaster.  I do not believe that these artist accounts had ill intentions.  They are trying to survive in a world of unspoken rules on Farcaster.  It is not an easy world to navigate.  I hope that we don't lose some of our best today, but I fear we will.

I'm now banned on the new degen ban list. I'm shocked seeing my FID on the list!!! 🤯 

I have invested more than 7k usdc into $degen in the last two months to support the project. I have not broken any written rules. I have not overcome the 15 tip-for-tip rule. 

This season I have used my allowance to:
-Most of them to support my BEST collector @pawleitor, who spent more than 2 ETH buying my ART and has tried more than once to be active here and has always been ignored. 
-Support friends from my /farcaster circle who interact with me daily and support me here. It's the reason I'm still here.

I hope this is rectified as soon as possible, and let the rules be clearly specified before each season.

What a fucking circus. They change the rules when they feel like it. They play with your money. You get banned without breaking any rules. This is the clearest thing to a fucking scam. 

@alemac is one of the most Degen believer I know. He introduced me to farcaster. He introduced me to degen. 

It is true that I have not managed to create new relationships here, why? I don't know, maybe my fault, my lack of time. I have always noticed that I have been ignored in this app. However, I have always tried to give it a second chance. The result? My friend @alemac  just told me that I have been banned from degen. 

I have invested over $2500 in degen in the last month. What do I do with my allowance? What anyone would do. Give him back some of what he has helped me with. What would you have done? Give it to people who completely ignore you?
