It's fun to make cakes, isn't it?
I have a hard time baking from a sponge, so I often substitute pancake mix or sponge cake.
Just decorating them is fun!

I am not good at English, so I use translations.

You need very heavy cake if you plan on decorating. It must be dense to hold the weight of all the chocolate!

I like to make a fruit cake with sponge on the inside wall of the bowl and fruit in the middle.
Decoration is done with custard.😁
