My last stop on my long Asian trip is Seoul. It was a carefully planned strategic decision to finally go shopping and return home with a suitcase full of skincare products.

I'm thinking of trying something simple, like a laser treatment - mostly for the experience. But in general, I am a bit skeptical about facial treatments. For something noticeable like lifting, I am probably too young, and most facials don't seem to have lasting effects. So usually I like to invest in at-home devices or skincare products. I'm still researching the must-buy items, but can share my findings later!

Skincare Shopping: Honestly, I expected it to be much cheaper 😃 Prices are still cheaper than in Europe, but not worth getting an extra suitcase. Or maybe I just know where to get good deals at home. But still, bought a lot. A big surprise was Daiso - a $1 store that also has solid skincare brands. You can find lots of moisturizing and calming products with centella, masks, toners etc for max $3.50! Another go-to was Olivia Young, which is everywhere in Seoul. There are also many street skincare shops with discounts in touristy areas. From Reddit, I read it's best not to buy from them, as they may sell fake products. Korean skincare has a lot of calming and moisturizing products, with every possible variation - but not much with active ingredients. One exception: VT Reedle Shot - it’s trending online, I bought several, and even found it in mini sizes at Daiso. Something I wish I discovered earlier but didn’t buy: products with PNDR - an ingredient that seems unique to Korean skincare for now.
