gm, animal protein is just 0.01% better at building muscle mass than plant protein, according to a meta-analysis from 2021 for most people the source of protein doesn't matter for building and maintaining muscle mass https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7926405/

Hmm , very curious about experimentation process, seems like a study of bunch of other studies Curious, as just by nature of protein quality in plants vs dairy/animal/eggs , usually veg has monumentally less amino acids & not complete proteins Has this paper addressed why exactly?

first of all, familiarize yourself with the term "meta-analysis" secondly, check your facts about amino acids and "incomplete proteins" thirdly, stop holding opinions based on made up data and go search for data, it's a couple of google queries away

Not meant as a personal attack, just asking a question šŸ¤™ Fwiw, similar sentiments have been echoed from many researchers, like dr.huberman (cliche, I know) , so curious if there was a point Iā€™d not considered https://i.imgur.com/4BcbV2G.jpg

well, my answer wasn't a personal attack either, but a genuine piece of advice if you follow my advice above, your decision-making will improve drastically because you will start considering real up-to-date research and data ā€” not the outdated opinions other people base on whatever

Ahh, appreciate it, am genuinely curious. No paper I've found has addressed the protein quality question , w/rt to equalizing calories between the sources. Can you share your up to date info around protein quality? https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7926405/

you're commenting on the thread to the meta-analysis that does exactly that
