Spent my day reading Fahrenheit 451.

Was hooked after the first few pages so... I finished it already. 

Much food for thought in it.

definitely fiction, more on the dystopian side - I am not a science fiction reader normally but this one is so good - as said, I read it basically in a day...

I also watched this one hour video essay to complement it afterwards (there's spoilers in there so - might be best to read the book first :))

It is crazy how well it complements a bunch of my philosophical readings  (Byung Chul Han, Hannah Arendt, Hartmut Rosa) recently - and the discussion around how we have more information than ever but less wisdom. 

Will definitely re-read this book some time.

people argue about orwell vs huxley but i personally believe that this is the most prophetic dystopia. just like around and see how people aren't reading (even in academia) and how entertainment has us all hooked.
