Depends on the book, film or music, I think. Iβve definitely used them to escape too. But yes to art as slow provocation. And huge +1 for alone time. Not even to process pain. Maybe just to enjoy yourself. Literally enjoy your self. Speaking of, I need to get on your recommended rice-lining exercise!
