Yes, I was lucky to see him live this year in Leipzig. 2 hours of bliss. And he played so many encores, it was like a whole additional concert. :))

I also learned about Rameau largely through him, and then Vikingur Olafsson who made a playlist of his favorite Rameau and Debussy pieces on idagio.

Sokolov is such a compact pianist, truly joyful. Masterful camera work of this performance. Rameau is definitely getting more visibility. I seriously think that actually classical music is slowly getting more genuine listeners on the overall
