Oh yeah the stuff I write on the back is probably pretty mundane too in the grand scheme of things.

But as you say, it's still a sign somewhere someone thinks of us and they go as far as sending a card. I think there's both joy in writing and in the receiving. 😊

i have a old friend (decades long) that, 4-6 times a year sends a postcard with a short note. They are usually random in content but something he saw and liked and picked up

it's a real pleasure to receive them
