I have seen at least 3 friend tech clone this week, including an exact replica (post dot tech) If web2 apps’ moat is data, what is the web3’s?

Web2 => “Internet of Information” => “Data is the new oil.” Add AI refine the data or help create synthetic data. Web3 => “Internet of Value” => Market Cap + Liquidity. If a project can raise $MMin funds (in hours) and leadership can effectively deploy it, that's an incredible competitive advantage.

Vibes (Actually though. Take AAVE for example, the product is good but the didn't pull ahead because they were dramatically better than the alternatives. They pulled ahead because they threw good conference parties and had solid tshirt designs)

Brutal meritocracy; anyone is free to clone and attempt to make their mark. I can wait on the sidewalk during the NY Marathon and run for a block or two as fast as who is leading the race when they pass. I can copy their stride, maybe go faster for a moment. I'll draw attention briefly but soon after will not be seen.
