Good news! At the end of the month, I’ll be a Visiting Senior Scientist in Geographic Information Systems at the Illinois State Geologic Survey! And it only took 2 years and 500+ job applications to get here. 🙃 I tried to break into the tech industry; is tech no longer interested in hiring data science talent?
