Good news! At the end of the month, Iāll be a Visiting Senior Scientist in Geographic Information Systems at the Illinois State Geologic Survey! And it only took 2 years and 500+ job applications to get here. š I tried to break into the tech industry; is tech no longer interested in hiring data science talent?

honestly i gave up on applying for data science jobs. congrats on persistence. its so weird that a job so badly needed everywhere is impossible to convince people to hire for
