Don’t mean to call u out Alor, but this is hustling backwards Big mistake I see in beginners is that they think “if I buy X, it will make me want to Y” Nope. I’ve had clients buy $10k treadmills for their house because it’s so convenient to get their steps in…. And barely use it Convenience does not equal motivation You don’t need any equipment to start, you just need TO start Discipline will take you 80% of the way. Develop that first before thinking about efficiency or optimization But - since u already bought it… good luck soldier

Every plan Claude created for me implied at least dumbbells and barbell. Excluded all the pans involving dips because parallels at home are no go for me. So I thought I just bought the minimum to start. Creatine is key, so I need it. Same for the proteins… I don’t get where I’m wrong.

Not wrong. No judgement here. U do what you feel is best. Imo you don’t NEED anything. With 0 strength training experience body weight workouts are just as effective as resistance workouts. Like I said before, the program really doesn’t matter at your level. Most people don’t want to hear (or believe) it, but it’s true. What matters is discipline & consistency, both of which require 0 equipment Just my decade of experience as a trainer

I don’t have enough knowledge to know the difference between resistance and strength training. But I know that I’m not motivated enough if I only have to do pushups and crunch. It’s like with new runners, they just have to go out and run, but at least they have to buy running shoes, shorts and socks. I just bought the bare minimum to follow those plans at home.
