Major difference for me between starting Bountycaster and my prior fund Scalar Scalar - outside of the first 2 years that we needed to raise the fund, I barely did any promotion of it/myself and relied on word of mouth among founders and investors to get deal flow (worked really well) Bountycaster - it's critical to talk about it all the time and spread the word to raise awareness and get more distribution. Had to immediately overcome my feeling of not wanting to talk too much about myself or what I'm working on

What do you like more? Not talking about holistically, but rather word of mouth vs. building in public.

I'm pretty introverted personally so I'm naturally more of a word-of-mouth person but I think the best thing to be doing for a product like Bountycaster is building in public. Ultimately what makes me happy is seeing users resonate with Bountycaster so happy to do whatever is needed

Any tips for navigating the naturally introverted > build in public and talk lots transition?

Hm I don't feel like I have any particular tips beyond if you're passionate about what you're building then I fall into this sentiment https://warpcast.com/linda/0xe2e30d6b
