Trump is looking for his own online censorship bill.

Anyone could request the takedown of content they like without repercussion on whether these takedown requests are legitimate or not. This is very Chinese and, of course, a threat to those who are critical of the government.

Web3 social media cannot arrive sooner, as it is more censorship-resistant than public blockchains, which are notoriously difficult to censor.
