Just a reminder that a great spam mitigation mechanism is the sender stakes the message, and the recipient has the option to slash and delete the stake Will repeat every time I get a spam message

Just curious, doesn’t that exclude certain people from conversations on the basis of money?

It’s effectively free to send messages that ppl are happy to receive

I wasn't quite sure if it was "staking" in the sense of "proof of stake", or something else, but I was just saying there are messages that people aren't happy to receive that aren't spam or harassment/hate speech, but I wasn't sure if there was a cost to stake in the first place.

Yeah thinking there should be a cost to stake to begin with

Oh yeah, I was just saying a lot of newbies don't have access to that, at least in the short term. Like I used to hold an asston of doge(gave it to a friend in 2021 to help start a furry music label), but until like three days ago I didn't have any eth with which to do a "free" mint for the thing I got ETH for doing.
