Just curious, doesn’t that exclude certain people from conversations on the basis of money?

I wasn't quite sure if it was "staking" in the sense of "proof of stake", or something else, but I was just saying there are messages that people aren't happy to receive that aren't spam or harassment/hate speech, but I wasn't sure if there was a cost to stake in the first place.
