Have you read 'Ministry for the Future' by Kim Stanley Robinson? Some interesting funding ideas in there, especially the plausibly deniable ones you find out about later on.

Yeah, I did read that! The whole idea of pipelines drilled to the melted water under Antarctica was interesting (quite a higher price point for that one, though). 🙂

Haha yea, not sure what a realistic budget for that would be! I was thinking more along the lines of black budget funding for 'The Children of Kali'... might be a difficult sell for VC investors though.

OMG haha… I mean in that case VCs would look at the game theory of what might happen to them if they didn’t fund Children of Kali and I’m sure they’d just wire the money
