Human mental resources are fascinating—they have a relatively fixed capacity. When you allow too many trivial matters to occupy that space, you may unknowingly find yourself overwhelmed rather than feeling fulfilled and grounded.

A piece of advice I recently came across struck me as both intriguing and unconventional: to try telling the truth, as it can be considered a meaningful kind of adventure. Yes, it might sound a bit silly at first, but when you think about it, we often hide or downplay things for various reasons—not outright lies, but certainly forms of avoidance or a lack of honesty. By consciously making an effort to express what you genuinely believe to be true, especially things you might normally keep to yourself, you may find that people’s reactions differ from what you expected. At the same time, your relationship with them subtly begins to shift. I find this transformation quite fascinating.

Yesterday, I came across a self-narrative from a late-stage lung cancer patient. What surprised me even more than his account of discovering his condition was how well he managed to recover through proper treatment and rest. That said, prevention is always better than cure—it’s crucial to maintain adequate rest and stay vigilant about unexplained pain in daily life.

Recently, I played through the storyline of a werewolf character in the game ZZZ. The character’s outstanding dedication and unique personal convictions were deeply resonant, and the ending’s foreshadowing for the future was equally intriguing. As expected, storytelling is truly crucial for a great game experience.

Every impressive work tends to have some characters that leave a lingering sense of regret or unresolved emotions.

Today, someone came to the company to give a fire safety lecture. Right after, I immediately ordered some essential fire safety supplies for my parents. Maybe some people will think I'm easily influenced, but I'd rather be laughed at than have my family be unprepared in an emergency.🙂

I tried handling work at home on a day off instead of heading to a café, only to find that too many distractions pull my attention away. It’s surprising how, at certain times, the place where I usually live can turn into such a chaotic trap. But this does highlight the effectiveness of spending time outside for better focus.

This is how it looked when it was still shy and skinny, just after it first came to our home. Rather than a cow-patterned cat, it resembled more of a large mouse. But now it has grown a bit chubby and confident enough to cause trouble all around the house.

Recently, the little one at home has developed a habit: as soon as it hears the sound of me lying down, it emerges from some unknown corner, jumps straight onto my stomach, and settles down, starting to purr in that way cats do when they're relaxed. Although I have no idea what motivates this behavior, so far, we're both very satisfied with this little interaction, so I’ve decided not to overthink it.

The usually energetic tuxedo cat also has its quiet moments, and it's this contrast that adds to its charm. However, every time it jumps off my lap, it loves to leave scratch marks where it just lay, reminding me that it's still that little rascal.

The greatest joy after coming home from work every day is grabbing this black and white kitten, who thinks it can escape my grasp, and then holding it in my arms for some carefree snuggles.

When my parents visited for a few days after a long absence, the cats at home seemed not to recognize them anymore, hiding in the corners of the room on high alert whenever my parents were around. I really hope they can adapt and relax soon.

When it runs to the space between the table and the chair, it seems to be expressing that it's tired of our chase game, quietly lying there waiting for me to reach out and pick it up.

Although visitors occasionally comment that the color around this cat's mouth makes it look funny, which was also my first impression when I saw it, after having it for a while, I've grown accustomed to it. It doesn't seem strange anymore; in fact, it has become a very endearing feature.

During a weekend rest, I suddenly realized that the cat at home was meowing, but its food bowl was not empty, which was strange. It wasn't until I passed by the water bowl that I realized I had forgotten to refill it. It seems I wrongly blamed the cat; they do have their reasons when they call for their owner.

"This spot has recently become its favorite. Every time I come home from work, I always find it here, and even when I go to the living room to get water on weekends, it's here. Maybe because the temperature here is just right?
