A piece of advice I recently came across struck me as both intriguing and unconventional: to try telling the truth, as it can be considered a meaningful kind of adventure. Yes, it might sound a bit silly at first, but when you think about it, we often hide or downplay things for various reasons—not outright lies, but certainly forms of avoidance or a lack of honesty. By consciously making an effort to express what you genuinely believe to be true, especially things you might normally keep to yourself, you may find that people’s reactions differ from what you expected. At the same time, your relationship with them subtly begins to shift. I find this transformation quite fascinating.
