Ross Young: M4's MacBook Pro gets a quantum dot display Apple has applied quantum dots with a separate film on top of the LCD, which allows to improve the color reproduction of the new MacBook Pro and keep the proven technology of matrix manufacturing. This is the conclusion of analyst Ross Young. In terms of response speed LCD-display with a film on quantum dots is inferior to a full QD-OLED panel, but provides better brightness and contrast compared to previous IPS-matrixes. All MacBook Pro screens, including nano-textured models, have received the high-tech film. Apple's next innovation will be a smart home device The company will present the device in March. The product will be a standalone device without the need to connect an iPhone, will receive its own operating system and will be controlled by a touch-sensor and Siri. This is reported by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg. The tablet-like product, codenamed J490, has a 6-inch screen, a camera for FaceTime calls, and even a battery. The interface scales automatically as you get closer to the device. The insider describes the new operating system as something between watchOS and iOS on Standby. The familiar home screen with widgets is in place. Apple is selling a $450 book with the 100 best albums according to Apple Music In conjunction with publisher Assouline, the company has opened pre-orders for a limited edition compilation of the top 100 albums that were chosen by Apple Music editors this May. The cost of the book, which is higher than the iPhone SE 3, Apple is trying to justify the limited edition: only 1,500 copies will be produced. Each book comes in a translucent slipcase engraved with the Apple Music logo, the page edges are gold-plated, and a special number is hand-stamped inside and outside the edition so you won't forget its exclusivity. Previous insiders claimed that the new products will come out a year earlier. It is claimed that the company does not yet know how to solve two major problems: the high cost of OLED displays and the natural increase in the price of the Airs themselves after the installation of the new screen. something i did when i made good money was to get my friends the latest macbook pros β€” super powerful workstations. a good computer isn’t just a tool, it’s a life-changer, especially for artists. growing up, i only dreamed of using apple products β€” ever since i saw the first iphone in an old phonebook ad. i worked for about 2 years before leaving argentina at 20, saving every penny. but before heading to paris, i spent over half those savings on a macbook pro, my first computer. going to paris with just $1300 probably wasn’t the best call, but that laptop brought me to where i am today. these computers are truly portals that open so many doors for you. at one point, one of these guys told me he was considering selling the computer and downgrading to get some cash, lmao.

Past fines have threatened to be levied only after March 2025. The regulator is still mulling over the exact amounts, as well as the timing of the β€˜first’ fine. Apple will add its own Steam-like game shop to iOS The app will be integrated with a user's profile from Game Centre, and it will be possible to both buy games and view additional information on them. Judging by the description, the new shop will work similarly to Steam or PS Store. In one tab you can buy games from the App Store and Apple Arcade, in another - to see the selection of games from the editorial staff, in the third - tables of records, achievements and information about friends. Notifications about important game events and updates will be added (where else will you find out that Genshin has a new waifu). Among the potential features - integration of FaceTime and iMessage to communicate in the game app. Apple is also thinking about publishing an App Clips-based mini-game catalogue.
