My youngest is getting sillier and sillier (6) 

And my oldest is getting more earnest (8)

I feel like I'm missing so much all the time

..and then one day you look back and they’re focused on their friends and heading out to events without you 😢

Feel super blessed to be able to work from home and spend max time w the little one. First 10-11 years seem so fleeting and rewarding (I’m only one year in).

Feel this, 8, 6 and 3 for me. Awesome watching them grow, but painful at the same time

I think youngest kids tend to have that wit/silliness inbuilt. 

It’s exactly the same on this side, except mine are 3 and 4
