I love Farcaster but 90% is incredibly egregious. That’s the combined weight of Twitter + Meta (both platforms) + TikTok and the list goes on Unless some insane world event happens — where suddenly 6b people care about owning their data — it’s highly unlikely to even achieve say 30%

Every monopoly crumbles! Farcaster will win because it's a better product Giants fail to innovate in areas that are bad for them, like open social graphs

It does, but within 5 years — aside from some earth shattering event — seems ludicrous to me. Over a longer timeline hopefully for sure! The average user today has 0 clue what an open social graph is and most have little reason to care (unless we project onto them that they should want to own their audience etc)
