We’re buying a switch for the boys this Christmas 

Currently they only get 1hr per day of screen time on the weekends

What are your best recommendations for this transition? 

What games should we play?

Not that I’d have recommendations at this stage, but 1hr per day at what age? I’ve somewhat assumed there will be an age where the flood gates open

They are 6 & 8 currently

We are holding it off as long as we can

My oldest son is VERY Into Minecraft which I like but still I prefer IRL creativity

With mine now at 2.5 I’m thinking about how the computer is such a different device to the phone and iPad that I may be more lenient toward it with an eye toward creative endeavors rather than consumption early enough on
