Technology cannot replace society. It is good to have a progressive vision for the future in which technological change plays a constructive part but the preexisting cultural character and material constraints of the world as it exists will play an important role regardless. There is not going to be a Year Zero revolution involving some new technology that completely breaks with the past. Not even the internet has done that: It has only provided a new forum for the old debates and conflicts to continue to play out. As a wise statesman once said, "what can be shall always remain burdened by what has been."

Technology doesn't change human behavior, it just amplifies it.

Makes a lot of sense I've always thought of what would be when the world goes full scale technology, a lot of things have been affected though and depression levels have risen. But the past is always the source that has kept on driving the future.

Technology can inspire a society, like d/acc tools can help a network state exist even if someone wants to take it down, which is one of the core principles of zuzalu

What if there’s a group of people emerging from the internet whose thesis is to get together exactly to start and build towards year zero revolution, at least for themselves

very astute. Technology and society are intertwined, and we cannot expect technology to solve all our problems

we are who we are, yet we're gradually fading our past through the convenience of technology..but never be removed completely
