It could be nice to label casts that were composed within a FC app vs. those crossposted. Because I *do* like having more interesting stuff to consume here without leaving. But at the same time it's nice to know when a person composed here, since those are thoughts they're more likely to authentically engage around.

The low effort part is a problem. The vibe here is to have better, more meaningful and timely conversations and to be engaged, not to use this place like a satellite billboard for mainstream social media. When people come here and try to use Warpcast like that, it degrades the different experience we came to create here; anyway we already have a scream into the void broadcast system. It’s called X. This is a place for conversations, not low effort cross posts.

Social media is a digital creation and it does not actually have a nature. People do, however. And What I am pointing to are the habits of people and what I am suggesting is that people make a deliberate decision to provide higher quality quality engagement than low effort cross posting. Because it’s not other bots it’s people who are intended to read these messages, it’s people - people we hope to engage in a genuine way—and people you want to buy things from you or listen to you deserve better than low effort cross posts. Don’t let low effort cross posts become the norm here.
