Lunarpunk clearly beats solarpunk on this dimension.

When I see Solar punk imagery, I can’t help but imagine the dark and dingy scenes elsewhere which support the happy green image.

What part of Tulum are you thinking? Used to go a fair bit, seemed decently uniform along the strip. Tons of expats from NYC running restaurants, beach hotels of varying exclusivity and party/chill vibes, just a mishmash of stuff.

IDK, like the limestone quarries, the bamboo plantations, the less luxurious neighborhoods of the locals. 

Not saying there aren’t benefits to those things, I just mean the solarpunk imagery is of specific pockets, it’s not all a lush balance between civilization and nature.
