I don't know if they read the article. My assumption is that they're satisfied with the current rate of retention(and the algorithm) and are open to trying out chrono feed now and focusing on user growth again.

my impression is they completely ignored the article, Dan and V never gave props to @yesyes for the research and write-up even though multiple people tagged them in posts regarding it also the new following feed still doesn't have reply bumping which was a big focus of that article it's progress, but reply bumping of things ppl you follow post as replies to other users into that following feed is the main way it generates deeper conversations without it, you still have no way of discovering conversations on here without multiple clicks to go deep into a thread
