Updated thinking about starting a podcast: Going to take my own advice on “verbs, not nouns” (https://warpcast.com/markfishman/0x0575f181) and focus on conversations instead of the output of the conversations To give myself a constraint (where to start?) I’m going to be reaching out to /firstdraft members for coffee chats Added benefit is making deeper connections in my cozy corner and learning how to help those people achieve their writing goals

Focus on verbs, not nouns I am having much more success writing now that I _write every week_ instead of trying to have _a newsletter_ This is part of the reason why I am reluctant to have _a podcast_, even though I am excited by _talking to new people_ https://warpcast.com/markfishman/0x88017ecf Figure out what gives you energy and purpose, then focus on doing it for its own sake. Don't let the work evolve into a noun that distracts you from the verb. As @pmillerd puts it in his new book, you have to protect your Good Work.
