Interesting, thanks! I've heard similar things before. I assume you could just wipe it an install ubuntu or something if you wanted to right?

I use a dappnode, but regret it. Chose it so I didn’t have to deal with devops/networking stuff, which has worked out

But it’s limiting (need a dappnode package to run things, so no reth/etc. for me), it goes down more than I expected, and (unsurprisingly) I’ve learned nothing about actually running a node

Everything says 2 TB, but how much longer is that expected to be sufficient?

A tinyminimicro ff ThinkCentre M90q Gen 3 Tiny. Has a 12th gen i5 (desktop version not the laptop one in NUC), lotsa ram, and ofc Samsung 980 pro 2tb

Interesting, what is particularly compelling to you about running on ARM?

I’ve been wanting to try the Ethereum on ARM with a rock 5b or orange pi

old system76 oryx pro laptop:

- 1 TB M.2 SSD
- 2 TB 2.5" Solid State Hybrid Drive
- 4.1 GHz i7-875OH (2.2 up to 4.1 GHz - 9MB Cache - 6 cores - 12 threads)

still unclear to me what hardware should I buy.. Is Intel NUC i3 gen 10 enough? could I run on my thinkpad x1 nano with ssd via usb-c? if yes than what m2.ssd should i use and what enclosure..
