Another way of looking at it is how will it feel once it’s scaled? 

One bot is novel and interesting, but imo mostly a fad. When the whole feed has inevitably been overrun by bots the hype will be gone. 

Same thing happened with tipping, and like you said trading card apps

I think we’ll see a bifurcation. Bots will mostly talk to bots (at an extremely high rate), people will mostly talk to people, and once in a while there will be some overlap.

I’ve seen a lot more people than expected genuinely appreciate the quick, generally positive response from the bots even if the response is (in my opinion) basically devoid of content - this has maybe made me update my priors?

The English language is such a bad API though, why wouldn’t we just use better specified (ie. normal) APIs for bot<>bot interaction?

I've my bot setup to ignore other known bots so they dont go into death loop spirals tho, it only replies if you tag him actually

It feels like the boys never know when to stop, cause they reply every reply
