I can't feel the heavy recoil of a 5.56 caliber round, so it's likely either from that family or an M14EBR.

Interestingly, there's minimal collateral damage to the surrounding tissue, and the shot was semi-automatic.

So we're not dealing with a hunting rifle or a bolt-action sniper rifle. It's probably an AR-10 or an M14 from the 10-AR or M14 family.

In a country where you can use 308 and 338 calibers, you'd have to be crazy to use an intermediate caliber.
