Who here actually wants to go to space, vs. just being interested in space? For those who do want to go: is it to visit or to stay? Aside from affordability, what goalposts does space tech need to reach for you to be ready to go?

there are only missions in space. at this point, I'd probably go on Starship regardless of the risk. but the mission would have to be ambitious so I don't have to be cognizant of being fodder.

In a weird way itβs neither for me. I definitely want to go to space and possibly live out there, but Iβm more interested in the future of my kids who may not have a hospitable earth when they get older. Iβve always loved space exploration so thereβs some of that in the mix too. Goalposts (for long term living) would be: - Ability to simulate night and day - Agriculture for not only vegetation but also livestock
