I'm often fighting pessimism and bearishness when it comes to markets and the economy as a whole.

so many headwinds for a big portion of americans at the moment.

economy is solid as per Jpow and dot plot was kinda dovish if you read between the lines. would be willing to bet there will be much more than two cuts in 2025. so, I think trad markets and particularly crypto up and to the right next year, in line with global liquidity rising. at least next 6mo anyway.

2026 onwards I agree with you though, tariffs and other questionable policy choices could very well backfire.

in my view they have less upside in 2025 after being truly up only for two years straight

zero, I do not believe that canadian pension funds will be solvent when I am 60+ and refuse to pay into them. I also want to be mostly liquid to compound gains while I am relatively young.
