He's not that wrong. Hopefully changes now that the UX is almost at parity. Seems like the entire history of crypto has just been a story of getting to that starting line.

imo one of the fundamental divides in crypto culture and discourse is between those who have experienced debanking and difficulty accessing financial products, and those who have not.

Yup, for people in developed countries a better description would be "a solution waiting for a problem" (like a lifeboat or a fire extinguisher)
