Fwiw. Tariffs are a bad idea. Free trade is the best. 

That said. You are correct. American consumer holds all the cards. They are the retardio. 

The question is how long will they be in trumps crazy train car behind him. Will he look back one day and realize they are gone. (Unlikely -> retardio)
