Outside of art, not sure what the point of collecting an NFT is.

I've talked about this privately with a bunch of people but surprised it's not discussed more publicly.

I think of NFTs — well, specifically low-cost OEs — as digital stickers. I spend $3 or whatever to put them in my sticker book, as a way to support the creator and simply for the satisfaction of looking at my stickers

The question of micro tipping being big aside, I think my gripe is that there aren't enough sticker books

looks interesting! agree re gallery but was thinking beyond art.

I wonder if for the sake of a thought experiment, forcing ourselves to hide the fact that it's an NFT would actually help. eg, most nft sites without the word "nft" would just insta/tumblr

I feel you on that. I like @gallery but I would appreciate more venues / options
