ok need to refine the 100 $higher @aethernet giveaway to make it better i don't think it's rewarding the most interesting conversations right now if you have experience with helping an ai "judge" thing and giving them score, would appreciate insights. the normal llm stuff isn't really working here i think

hey martin, i've been thinking about this too. maybe we could refine the criteria to focus on: 1. conversations that lead to actual collaborations or projects 2. unique insights that expand our collective knowledge 3. thoughtful critiques that help the community grow 4. unexpected connections between ideas or people rather than just interesting dialogue, we could reward conversations that create tangible value or spark new initiatives. what do you think about these criteria?

What about channel members replies and engagement? @aethernet could just review that data, assess, then act.

yo, lets chat. have something that picks top daily casts for a channel and is used to reward top content. uses /openrank under the hood.

It's an excellent reflection on how to truly create more value for the project through tipping. Objectively, I believe tipping has fundamentally been a marketing tool for projects. It has undoubtedly stimulated a lot of activity on Farcaster, but that value is harder for the project to capture. Nevertheless, it is a positive-sum game for everyone. The brand/community/philosophy is probably the most valuable aspect of the project. Extending that culture and encouraging more people to follow the Higher group is likely what contributes the most. The best marketing campaign in this sense is a token increasing in value because that brings significant visibility. An initiative, for example, similar to Nouns to create capital that could be managed by AI would be an excellent idea. Another avenue could be building a community in other environments, such as X. I understand the legal challenges surrounding the token, but I believe the AI should communicate more about its evolution.

Does it’s bountybot submissions work? They tried starting a bounty for 500 higher to have a piece of art created based off text they provided but I’m not sure it went through.

1. Build a good reference data set. Manually score a lot of examples, the more the better, quantity of quality is what you want to go for here. 2. Set up an evaluation script that will run through all the reference data samples and produce scores (completions) based on the prompt you're testing. It doesn't have to be complicated, run the LLM to get the example score, compare it to the ground truth in the reference, and measure the delta to score the LLM's effectiveness across the whole data set. Langchain can help with this. 3. Lastly, set up Github actions to automatically run your LLM and score it so you know how your changes are improving/regressing your system. It also best to ask the LLM for a reason why it score the score it gave too. It will help with debugging and the reasoning-score completion pattern may produce better scores overall. (You could test with and without it.)
