I usually do 12-16 hours fasting everyday, but this week I’m trying prolonged fasting. I’m on my 91st hour of fasting, targeting 100. The secret is the same as Dr. Banner: I’m always HUNGRY!!! 😏

18-20h has been good stable interval for me for several years — as long as not too obsessive about keeping to it all the time

Yeah, that’s something one shouldn’t do without preparation and research. The key is to listen to the body and respect the limits. Have you tried 48 hours?

Bad findings: - The hunger between 2nd and 3rd day. Kept drinking water and coffee and away from anything eatable - Then you feel empty, but not hungry. Not bad, but its a strange and unknown feeling. - You feel weak, but you aren't. - A slightly increase of heartbeat sometimes, due to body stress.

Good findings: - Mind is fully awake. - Improved sleep, as I felt sleepy around 2 hours early than normally - My productivity spiked around 3rd day. - Reduced around 6 lbs - Saved $$$ with food! lol

with even 14-16h, i get reduced hr and hrv, much better sleep and mood, clearer thinking. so far doesn't seem to improve much if i extend past 20h. are you finding big improvements from extending duration past 20h?
