SoundCloud? IMO I don't know that it needs to be more social than that. The social attempts by Spotify have not made the listener experience any better, they just added features that distract from the listening...

Yeah I agree Spotify has probably made the best decisions for their product / business. Just trying to imagine what a social music experience would look like if built from scratch. It could be built on top of Spotify or Soundcloud!

curious by "social music scene" what do you picture? is that social in it being collaborative listening? or social with likes/comments/voting? or social as in co-creating music together? I could see any of those coming to life, but co-creating music seems like the most novel and interesting. just my 2 cents.
