You don’t need global superstars to imagine that people would stake some financial capital to get some social capital

I hate to break it to you but Taylor Swift is not “seeing” you with your 30 cent tip

At large scale you just become one of many and get drowned out, at small scale it doesn’t really make an impact for a creator

also why people spend thousands for bottles in the club that are worth less than $100
