I feel like doing another fun topic of the day to help lighten the mood a little bit with all this clanking we been doing. So, what is something you want to do but you’re also scared of? For me, the answer is a self deprivation tank. I’ve heard about the amazing experiences that people have had in these and I would really like to try one. But, at the same time - I am not a fan of quiet or stillness. I’m the type who has to sleep with the fan on so I can feel the air and hear the sound. Still, maybe that’s exactly why I need to do it. I might make it happen on my upcoming trip to Portland. What about you? What’s something you’d like to do but are also scared of doing?

You might find it tight and feel claustrophobic though, but it’s all in your head ;) I want to build a strong foundation in my country, but i realize i’m scared of failing and scared of leading something that huge🤔

I already did it, but all my life I was incredibly scared of large sums of debt and I recently plunged into one of the biggest - a mortgage. Was also scared of having to upkeep and the general responsibility of owning a house but so far it's not so bad and I have found myself enjoying improving it.

Mine is water. I’d like to try things like swimming or diving, but it scares me because it feels so big and open. I think it could help me grow if I faced it.

For me, something I’d love to do but am a bit scared of is skydiving. There’s a part of me that craves that rush of free-falling and seeing the world from that insane perspective. But the idea of jumping out of a perfectly good airplane? Yeah, that terrifies me. It’s the classic fight between my sense of adventure and my inner safety-first instinct. I feel like if I ever did it, I’d be so exhilarated afterward—but getting myself to actually jump is another story!

I *lovvvve* deprivation tanks. actually it’s one of my dreams to own one! most people do 30 mins to an hour. I did 2 hours for my birthday one year and it was the best gift I ever received from anyone. (it was me lmao) as for what I want to do that I’m scared of? making $5000 a month. money is scary to me. 🤣

Something I want to do but am also scared of is Paragliding. The thought of soaring high above the ground with breathtaking views excites me, but the height and reliance on equipment make me feel a bit nervous. It’s a thrilling challenge I’d love to overcome someday!

Wow >>> self deprivation tank sounds crazy, I don't think I could do that. But I would like to try, maybe it will calm my mind. I think for me it's being in front of a group of accomplished people, and having to speak about my work and being a creative. Also to be on stage with some of the best creatives in the world, and to know I am on the same level as them, and being calm and cool about it. These are both things that I have a lot fear of, but feel like they will happen, or maybe they happened in another life. That self dep might help for real.

It's going to be about living more for myself. It’s hard to believe, but I’ve always been the type to hold myself back. I retreat into my shell at the slightest inconvenience or deviation from the norm. Being empathetic is a beautiful trait, but it often leaves me struggling to say no to my family, which can leave me feeling drained. However, the good news is that I’m changing, slowly but surely. I’m not the same girl I was just a few months ago, I’m evolving into a better version of myself. Although I haven’t fully achieved the wild and free lifestyle I envisioned, I realize there’s still time to embrace that spirit. I will always cherish my family and the love we share, but now I’m choosing to prioritize my own needs and desires. The challenges won’t stop coming, but I’m learning to navigate them with grace, just picked this up from @adminbrit.eth, it’s okay to face those challenges head-on while also nurturing your own journey.

For me, I've always wanted to try skydiving. The idea of free-falling through the sky seems charming, but the fear of the jump holding me back. Maybe one day I'll master the courage and go for it.

How interesting about the self deprivation tank, I had not heard of it. I think I could handle it, I'm used to quiet winters, by summer the seagulls are already coming to bother 🥲 😅 I would be happy if I could get rid of my fear to parachute, but I know I'll never get it because I'd have a stroke before jumping out of the plane haha.

Oh man I loved my self deprivation tank experience. If you get to the point where you’re completely relaxed it’s really trippy. I started seeing all kinds of geometric colors with eyes wide open. Went in and out of it when I lost focus. Definitely give it a try
