Recap of Leg day last week - this is something Ive wanted to talk about but Iโve been a little out of tune
Overall, I had a nice session, kicked things off with some dynamic stretches, Then, I got into Elevated front squats for the first time using the Smith machine. I loaded up 20 kg on each side and wow, that was a challenge
I was literally struggling, I had to have someone look out for me at my last rep ๐คฃ
I usually stick to 15/17.5 kg plates, so this was a nice upgrade. I also tried a killer goblet to lunge variation, mixing forward and backward lunges. That one seriously had me sweating
I used a 20 kg dumbbell, then switched to bodyweight for a bit, but ended up going back to the dumbbell for my remaining sets because Iโm not a pu**y ๐คฃ
Wrapped it up with some leg press & hamstring work, and let me tell you, I was feeling it for days
If youโre looking for a challenge, I highly recommend trying these exercises
Theyโre game-changers ๐ช๐ 2 replies
