Allowance system is changing again. Who in the community are the DEGEN team listening to? Almost everyone I’ve talked to really likes the new allowance system. It’s not a good look to continue changing things so rapidly. It gives me major “we’re trying to fix the current downtrend in price” vibes. Did we really even give the new @openrank allowance system enough time to cook before deciding to try something else?

Depends on what Jacek replaces the system with. But I agree: it's a bad look to abandon the current regime for a "fix the price" gimmick. Unless J is getting feedback from OR that it /cannot/ cope with these smarty pants farmers, I'd keep it in place and try a hybrid approach. staking + openrank + manual checks

Agreed that I enjoy the current system cause I get a solid allocation, yet i think they’ve identified some probable token farmers in the higher ranks. Anyway a bit surprised they hadn’t landed on staking as a /skininthegame approach earlier, bonk rewards have been employing 6 mo. staking multipliers since the start of the year. It’s a natural way to show commitment.

Agreed with all of your sayings. Using a method for only two weeks is not enough to measure its credibility. Trying to maintain the price is good but not with haste.

Hot take here, but dude wants the coin to survive and to be a bit more stable. It shouldn't be a farming and dumping as many are. I don't think it's a negative or a bad thing

Honestly? I'm perfectly agree with you , If it's just to bounce the loyal holders , Definitely I'm agree , But not like this , each hold more , bounce and valued more ! Totally unfair !

I agree that they trying to fix it so fast is a sign of bad faith in the players, us, that made them. Its also not reassuring to have such drastic changes so fast, part of our game is to plan ahead. I wonder what will come of it. 42 $degen (while I still can 💜)

It seems like their direction is becoming increasingly centralized. 1. Concentrating tip allowances to 1~500, 501~1000 2. About 3K PB users 3. Excluding non-English users 4. Focusing again on the whale users mentioned above. I believe the strength of a SNS in its user base, but it seems like all these policies are reducing the number of users.
