Verify your X account

You can now connect a X (Twitter) account on Warpcast and it will show up on your profile. 

We’re going to experiment with using this as a signal to give users more reach on the app. 

Should be rolling out to all users now.

I find tgis so weird. The failure of X on every front made me look for a better place. I found that here.

I will not verify with my X acvount that I am human. For me it feels like a step back.

Agree with you about the Twitter problems. The devs said in this thread that they intend to add the option to connect with other social networks. And that they are doing this experiment thinking about people who have just joined Warpcast (as a way for them to show that they are real). More information in the @v thread.

why do we continue to use  X to verify, it is a web 2 harmful platform, this is web3, let’s move away from that toxicity…

I deactivated from X because I find it to be a toxic place. Actually kind of makes me sad to see it as a standard of legitimacy here. We need new days where x does not have anything to do with making u legit.
