How to start communicating - short rewind to early 2020: Back then, before i started in military intelligence i had a major problem: I'm an introvert. I decompress when i'm alone, far away from other human beings. But fortune led me to human intelligence, a occupation that mainly revolves on speaking with humans. Its hard to learn how to lead a conversation, ask the right questions, memorize information, when you're not yet comfortable speaking with humans in general. What did i do? I've started out with ask strangers on the streets for their restaurant recommendations, for directions, for information instead of using my phone and hit google maps. I started to get a routine of just start talking to people around me. Over time I became a decent communicator. Over those conversations, becoming more and more common, i learned a lot about how people actually behave and interact with each other. With this observations i learned also how communicate right w them. And than HUMINT Training started...

What i've learned on DEGENNIVERSARY in Wrocław as non-tech guy (unpopular opinion): It was a great experience! @samuellhuber.eth helped me out with my first baby-steps in the industry. One thing i noticed, with every conversion i had and every talk i listened to - is the same as i already preach here on warpcast. Guys and girls, you need to find a way to communicate! I saw a lot of ppl that could talk for hours about UX, Backends, automation and so on, but only very few people were able to explain WHAT THEY ARE ACTUALLY DOING to me, without trying to explain me the tech behind it first and foremost. If you are a developer and want to stay in your space, with your ppl, you can stop reading by now. If you are a entrepeneur, owner, ceo or any kind of businessman... Learn to explain your mysterious and complex tech-world to dummies. (And in this case, dummy is everyone, without web3 background) I don't care about your Backend. And investors won't too. LEARN TO COMMUNICATE WHAT YOU DO, NOT HOW YOU DO.

Technical excellence is something, a lot of you guys already have. Look (virtually) around you. You're on a hub, full of people with technical excellence. To stand out, learn how to: -Present your ideas. -Lead conversations. -Build trust through clear communication That is the difference between clients, partners and the public seeing you as "excellent techie" or "a real entrepreneur". I'm not saying, its more important to talk than to work. But I am saying, that the talking part is as important as the work part. Wanna try out presenting ideas? Tell us what you're on for this week!

@rafi imo the big trend on "beeing as authentic as possible" on social media is already on decline. YES social media is winning of linear and traditional media. But the social media as we know it is evolving - fast. And the average content creator on social media is rapidly increasing on its quality. The "unedited webcam podcast" is not going to be the one, that pushes through. Thats the 2014 timeline. Especially if you are in a field, that is more important than just pure entertainment. Learn in public, YES TOTALLY, but INCREASE YOUR QUALITY, - contentwise and productionwise - in public, or you'll fall by the wayside.

Everyone thinks "soft skills" are fluffy. Here’s the hard truth: No client cares how elegant your backend is if you can't explain why it even matters.

People tell me, "But I’m not a people person." Neither were half of the ppl in Human Intelligence Training. (And neither i was, tbh.) You don't have to love people to understand them. Learn the skill, not the sentiment. For sure, not everyone needs the spotlight as much as @samuellhuber.eth, but you should't avoid it, and than ask yourself later "Why does nobody care for what i've done?" That's the reason why you should go out there. That's why you should get a better communicator in your private life That's why you should get a great communicator for business

@jpfraneto.eth 2/2 Or if your starting point is, you are speaker and want to impress and captivate your audience (or for ex. on socials) you should focus on getting im theory about communication and communicationpsychology. Especially sharpining charisma, way of speaking, tonality and how to tell a story.

@jpfraneto.eth Depends on where your startingpoint is. Not comfortable speaking to strangers or ppl outside your box i.g.? Start by gettin' alonge without your phone outside. Ask a stranger om the street for his recommandation for lunch in the area. Get in touch w people for information i stead a screen 1/2

For "assembly line" style of agencies -> For sure. You're already today on the point, where AI can replace most of the work. f.e. marketing: Media buyer, adcreative creation and copywriting can all be done by AI. Here comes the BUT: AI is not creative. Its generative. What you're not gonna replace in the next few years, is boutique-style agencies, working 1:1 with the customer. If you want to find new angles, try out something, that has never been done before or experiment outside of the box - you're going to hit walls with AI. The AI cannot consult you, on an creative level. It can advise you, to do, what already worked in the past. If you think, you are going to be market frontrunner, by letting the AI to the heavy lifting, you are going to be disappointed. Coming from an agency owner, that already integrated AI heavily in the process and working with it on daily bases.

Imagine this: You have a genius solution, but no one understands it. What’s missing? Your ability to translate tech brilliance into everyday language. Don't just build—communicate.

@accountless.eth I was active as human intelligence sergeant. Long story short: Talking to and with people. Psychology-heavy work. All about building networks of agents and contacts.
